Now there are two major things that some people use to lose weight that are ultimately harmful to the body. Realistically speaking, there are actually 3 major components. They first of all tend to use diuretics to get rid of water weight. Second they use laxatives to get rid of weight associated with waste. And finally they use purging to get rid of meals they had. Now when a bodybuilder uses a diuretic, they don’t really count on it to drop the pounds.
It’s more of a measure meant to help them to actually further define their muscles by getting rid of the water weight that may make them bigger, but is ultimately covering the muscle they are trying so hard to grease up and show off. But for the rest of us, many of us think that if we get rid of water weight, we are actually losing weight. It comes back when you drink something just as the weight comes back after using a laxative as you eat something, and that’s why on the days when I really have problems in that department, I always gain weight, it’s inevitable, it happens. Likewise, purging is obviously highly damaging to your esophogas and it can be highly damaging to your weight loss process in general. So all of these things are to be considered when you think about using these extreme methods for your weight loss.
